It's been several weeks since our last update. We've been preparing for our talk at Twin Cities Startup Week on October 7th - be sure to check us out! We've also been putting together/doing PoCs for the next phase of Pulse's development.
In short, this is what we're trying to do with Pulse in Phase II:
Four Big Moves:
- Data Lake → Data Delta: Instead of a single massive store, Pulse creates interconnected pods, letting users share and observe granular information in real time.
- Cloud → Post-Cloud: Workloads, automation, and business logic can run on any device you control. Your devices become part of your network.
- SaaS → Post-SaaS: All data lives in Pulse, shared via pods and APIs, surfaced in Kash, letting apps - or even digests themselves – be distributed without centralized platforms or specialized frontends.
- Parasocial → Participatory: Overmind matchmaking connects you with the right people to learn, play, and challenge yourself.
To this end, we're finally using the public git repository and we have the first usable build of the Kash Stash binary:
The current barebones version of Kash Stash has been tested on desktop linux systems (Ubuntu, Arch, Redhat) and can act as monitoring/automation software and also help manage screenshots and take notes:

We're hoping to get Windows and OSX compatible versions out as soon as we have all of the capabilities working on Linux. We're also hoping to be able to make a Kash Stash app for Anroid and IOS.
This all ties back to a central concept I'm calling the Kash Ladder:
The Kash Ladder
Level 1 – Kash Stash:
Start small. Capture notes, screenshots, and other information into Kash. Use workflows, Explore, and pods to organize and surface your data.
Level 2 – Facility Management:
Expand to the physical world. Track building issues - leaks, broken windows, dead lightbulbs - and let Kash surface this information automatically.
Start using Kash Stash to monitor endpoints and devices.
Level 3 – Process Management:
Use Pulse to store and monitor operational processes. Inventory, Fulfillment tracking, task pipelines, and other workflows now live in Kash, giving you real-time visibility.
Start using Kash Stash to do configuration management and execute ansible-style automation.
Level 4 – Business Logic & Automation:
Turn Pulse into an organizational engine. Automate paperwork, notifications, emails, and other recurring tasks. The Kash Stash binary now pulls, pushes, and locks digests while processing, effectively acting as your workflow orchestrator, customers will start expecting to see data in Kash rather than a specialized webapp.
Level 5 – Industrial Control:
Coordinate complex manufacturing environments. Use Pulse to manage PLCs, SCADA systems, and other facility automation, integrating operational and digital workflows seamlessly into Kash.
Tiny Tier
To make adoption easier/provide users that only want to use Pulse for social networking/automation/business logic we're adding a "Tiny" tier! At $10/month you get a node that can still use AI for ingestion and basic workflows/still use pods and Overmind, but doesn't have any of the AI assistant features that drive cost:

Final Notes
As always, a big thank you to our new users, everyone who's been with us since the beginning, everyone who shares our content on social media, and everyone who voted for us at twin cities startup week! We're excited to see how far we can take things in Phase II.
