Hello everyone!

We apologize for the couple of days of delay on this week's update. We had to make changes to the IOS/OSX, Android, Windows, Linux apps, and Frontend to support this week's changes. One of the most consistent bits of feedback we've received is that it's hard to set up.

We fixed that.

Easy Setup Form

The Kash page has a built-in easy setup form in the top-right corner. This form has a walkthrough mode and a few quick functions for users who are more familiar.

To complete the "decentralize all the things" mission we also created a simpe file and content management system!

New Mobile App Features

Mobile apps now support configuring Kash Stash and Kash Files via QR Code from live camera input and saved photos and have some look/UX updates - you'll notice that since we've made the share functionality so much more reliable users are now expected to use the apps through "share" on their device rather than visiting the app to manually upload.

Speaking of Kash Files - you ordered cloud storage right? How about open source, self-hosted, decentralized cloud storage that easily integrates with Pulse/Kash?

What is it was also able to connect with just a QR code?

Kash Files: Decentralized Cloud Storage

  • Hosted cloud storage is tricky due to uptime, delivery, and liability concerns.
  • With Kash Files, any Docker-capable computer or VPS can become a personal file-sharing node.
  • Files are submitted via API keys, meaning trusted people you know control the data, not Pulse or any other vendor.
  • Thanks to Cloudflare Tunnels, setup takes only a few minutes and ~$8–10 if you have existing hardware.
  • Open-source, self-hosted, and designed for multi-node integration with Pulse/Kash.

This update makes it easier than ever to store, share, and manage your content across platforms while keeping control in your hands.
