Hello Everyone!
Thanks for hanging out with us at Twin Cities Startup Week - we had a great time presenting. We've also picked up a couple of new blog subscribers who I'd like to give a quick shout-out to before we get in to the rest of the update!
You can watch our presentation on YouTube:
A lot of this week's improvements are better support in the web interface for "Phase II" tasks. To that end we've made the UI more navigable for large numbers of tags and digests. We've also made improvements to workflows and filtering within tags.
Improved Kash Landing Page

The new landing page puts tags front and center. With a large number of tags/digests the previous layout with previews was too busy/difficult to navigate and would also load slowly under certain conditions. The new layout always loads within 1-6s even when dumping/counting all of the digests on a node and its federated partners.
Improved Tags Page + Federated Workflows

The updated tags page has far more options for filtering and search than the previous version. You can now filter by date, tag, node, and conditional logic based on digest contents. It is now also possible to run workflows on digests from federated nodes:

We think these improvements will strike a better balance between ux and performance as nodes start to store large amounts of data. Now that these improvements are in place, for the next several weeks we'll be switching our focus to the Kash Stash service. Our goal is to have something available for Linux, Windows, and OSX that can use the probes API to store information, run ansible-like scripts, and (if we have time) handle queues of digests by running business logic against them.
Thanks for reading!
