(this has already been rolled out to everyone participating in beta as I'm writing this)

After playing with swarm mode for a few weeks, I realized Qwen’s actually a bit smarter than I’d initially thought. Once I pulled back on the dense, example-heavy guidance I was feeding to swarm mode’s workers, the results started coming in a lot cleaner/less noisy/more coherent. I also tweaked the chunk size of web content getting processed, landing in this sweet spot: requests are now fast, a lot like the big “batched” queries from earlier versions, but without sacrificing detail.

Most users still prefer to export swarm search results and run them through the analysis tool (old habits die hard), but I really want those first-round results from swarm to be genuinely useful on their own. The good news: with these adjustments, Qwen now handles tough, info-jammed topics like politics or celebrity drama with way less tripping over conflicts or contradictions. That means search is not only better for research, but actually kind of fun for daily use.

A quick rundown on what changed and why it matters:

  • Simpler guidance for swarm workers: Less cluttered instructions means less confusion for the AI, especially on tricky topics.
  • Smaller content chunks: Faster requests, and the first-pass analysis gets right to the point.
  • Sharper results, even on messy subjects: Qwen picks out relevant details and keeps conflicting info straight.
  • Better handoff to analysis tool: The improved initial results make follow-up deep dives more focused and efficient.

If you’re mainly exporting results to analyze further, you’ll notice the workflow feels snappier and you get more usable info right out of the gate. For me, it’s just made search more enjoyable all around, while still holding up on the tough research tasks.

Overall, letting Qwen and swarm mode “breathe” a bit has paid off. The system’s clearer, faster, and just does a better job handling both serious research and everyday curiosity.
