Setup
Overmind is an opt-in social networking layer for Pulse Nodes. If this is your first time visiting click "register" to register your node, enter a bio, gross location (not required), and upload a profile picture.
You have full control over what level of interaction you have with Overmind. When registering you can choose to enable or disable both Discoverability in Search and Automatic Matchmaking.
Searching
The search bar provides fuzzy search over all available user bios
Making Pods
If you see someone you'd like to try networking with select "connect", you can do this for multiple users as well, then select "send invites" at the bottom of the page.
You and the users that you selected will receive invites on the lefthand side of the overmind page:
If accepting, click "review and join", to dismiss click "ignore", if accepting you'll see something like this.
Accepting the invitation will create a pod with no advertised tags, to decide what to share go to the "probes" and then "pods":
Locate the pod - it will match the name in the invitation
Then edit the pod and add your desired advertised tags - these will be discovered and displayed by the other connected nodes automatically as you add digests to them on your node, your node will do the same for digests posted to the others as well.
After saving changes the newly advertised tag will appear in the UI next to the pod.
