The explore tool is a standardized deep research framework that uses visual browsing to get more consistent, quick, and useful results than conventional deep research tools. Explore is substantially less vulnerable to common anti-AI-browsing techniques than other frameworks as a result. It uses a fresh install of chromium each time it browses to prevent security issues like this.
After filling out an explore job form you can either leave the page (on self-driving mode) and wait for the AI to finish the job or you can watch the knowledge graph live and co-browse for a better understanding of the topic/to suggest additional links in the "feedback" box if not using self-driving mode:

Note: Explore jobs are ephemeral - this is part of our mission to minimize the amount of data we collect on customers, the "long term home" for all explore results is Kash/Digests, do not expect these jobs to not periodically clear or refresh.
